The site features a look that lets the spectacular food photography and taste appeal speak for itself. Built on a Drupal-foundation, the site's tools allow owners Charlie and Martha to update specials, menu items, and events to keep Salt Exchange visitors up to date. A new blog helps the staff to create a more personal connection with visitors as this new restaurant grows into its Portland home.
The site builds on The Salt Exchange's growing reputation as one of Portland's great restaurants. Small plate restaurants are few and far between in this town. Supporting and explaining this type of dining experience as well as the location and brand positioning was key.
