Earlier this year I was approached by Steve Dostie at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society to make some updates to their site.  Of course, I was happy to do anything I could to help their animals find a new home.

Over the course of the summer, I worked to completely reengineer the code that drives their site, bringing it up to modern standards with an SEO friendly XHTML / CSS presentation layer, a full content management system enabling GAHS staff to easily update the site, and RSS broadcast feeds for news and animal adoptions that are automatically generated when staff add new content.  The goal, of course, is to increase traffic and adoption rates for this fantastic facility.

I worked with the Causeway Club on Mount Desert Island to create a site from the ground up highlighting the features of their semi-private club. Golf, swimming, tennis and event booking are all featured prominently on the site which enables visitors to keep track of the Club's seasonal event schedule.

At the University of Maine at Farmington, I served as lead designer for marketing art directing, designing, managing print projects, and producing code for web sites including the public marketing site for the University. As part of the Software Development Group, I worked to design and code custom PHP/Oracle applications for use on the University's homegrown intranet.
